    In this video we will save out our illustrator file as a PDF. 0:04
    This is a great way to deliver your designs to your clients. 0:09
    PDF's work on almost any computer and generally have a much smaller file size. 0:12
    And for our purposes, I have deleted the guide layer already. 0:18
    You can see here in my layers panel. 0:22
    Just to make sure that none of that is going to appear 0:24
    in this final PDF I'm creating. 0:27
    To save as a PDF, we'll go to File, 0:30
    Save As, I'll be saving it as my Finished Mock Up. 0:34
    On my desktop. 0:39
    For the format, we have some different choices. 0:41
    You wanna choose Adobe PDF. 0:45
    And we have a choice to do all or a range, so 0:48
    we could just do our mobile or desktop art board if we wanted. 0:52
    But in this case we do wanna do both, so I'm gonna hit all. 0:55
    And then I'll hit save. 0:58
    And this brings up our Save Adobe PDF dialog box and 1:00
    within this, you can see that we do have other options. 1:05
    For our purposes, I'm going to do something 1:08
    to really reduce our file size, but it doesn't take a lot of extra work. 1:12
    So, here at the top, under Options, and I'm going to just stick with this 1:16
    illustrator default for my Adobe PDF preset. 1:21
    And then here in our options dialogue box let's uncheck 1:25
    Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities. 1:29
    Basically with this check it leaves all of your layers in illustrator so 1:33
    that you can still edit it, much like you would a regular Adobe Illustrator file. 1:38
    So by unchecking this, it flattens it all for you, and that's pretty much it. 1:42
    It's pretty simple. 1:47
    So save PDF, and it's like, are you sure that you want to lose that? 1:47
    I'm like, yep. 1:53
    So let's go check it out. 1:55
    I'm gonna hop over to my Finder, and here it is. 1:56
    It's 4 MB, and open it up. 2:01
    It's two pages. 2:03
    You can see we have really nice quality, which is awesome. 2:04
    And as I scroll down the first page is my mobile and the second page is my web. 2:09

    And now I could just send this over to my client by email, 2:22
    or Dropbox, and it's really simple for them to get to. 2:25
