HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Add Image Gallery Content

for uploading images, do you always have to put alt=""> at the end

and if yes then why do you have to do that, before i was taught without the alt at the end so can someone explain in simple terms why he did this.

Basically the alt attribute is there incase the image cannot be displayed (slow connection, bad src attribute etc..). it can be an image or a piece of text.

You should always put one in case image doesnt load or an image that is a link that is removed from the internet.

It's a good habit to get into, but it's not necessary.
