CSS How to Make a Website Adding Pages to a Website Build the Contact Page

Hi! I have a margin question.

My text is butting up against the windows in the browser, unlike the examples which have some white space. I also have the same problem with the photo of me bumping up against the top of the window in the contact page. I'm trying to see if the margins were set somewhere in main.css for all of the elements in general, but I don't see it. Did I miss a step?

Thanks!

Hi Michele - if you post your code (html & css) using the markdown cheatsheet instructions we can help you out more specifically with what you have written so far. Normally the margin & padding is only set in main.css during the course but everything would be normalized in the normalize.css file that is linked also. So post your code and I'll see if I can help.

try: *{ margin: 0; }. This will remove all the margin.

Hi Michele,

Would you be able to take a snapshot of your Workspace and link it on here?

I will take a look for you.

Thanks! I just downloaded the main.css file and compared it to mine and saw that I didn't have the padding set for the wrapper. All good now.

Nice one :D Glad you got it sorted.

Keep up the good work

Thanks to both of your for the quick response!
