How many JavaScript videos can you guys watch, take notes on, and actually learn from in one hour? I feel like I am not learning much in an hour. I can't even do any of the challenges on CoderByte or Codewars.

For me, I don't take notes. Maybe that is shear ignorance but, I google EVERYTHING. I don't expect myself to remember everything. What most of this is about, in my opinion, is having ways to find the answer. Use all the resources at your disposal. YouTube, MDN, Google, forums, stackOverflow, etc. will help because maybe you might see someone else explain it in a slightly different way and it just clicks.
Check out the "How To Learn" course. It may give you more ideas.
Just remember, you got this!
That being said, it depends. In a given hour, I can watch 30 minutes-ish but I split the hour into 30 minute sections...

One thing that really helps me is I put all information that I feel is important is a binder for each computer language because I know i cant remember every concept but with a binder with it all i just look it up in my binder and get a definition and an example of it
But it truly just depends on the person and how they study in my opinion
