how to get the len() of article

i m trying to solve the django challenge but no luck

articles/views.py 
from django.http import HttpResponse
from .models import Article

def article_list(request):
    articles = Article.objects.all()
    return "there are {} articles.".format(len(articles))

You get the number of articles with len() correctly. You have to return an HttpResponse not just a string.

return HttpResponse("there are {} articles.".format(len(articles)))
