Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

I am using the .split() function to break apart available. so I don't understand why this is incorrect

I need to make a variable called sundaes, which is a list of str, , created by breaking up the list available. I don't understand why my code is incorrect

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes=(available.split(";"))

You put double quotes around ; and the parenthesis shouldn't be needed

``` sundaes = available.split(';')
