HTML How to Make a Website Styling Web Pages and Navigation Style the Portfolio

I don´t understand the use of the section tag, could we achieve the same results without using it between div and ul ?

It seems that it doesn´t serve an specific purpose, so i wonder if we could remove it, or if it is esencial to the code, what is its function?

http://blog.teamtreehouse.com/use-html5-sectioning-elements It's HTML5, so it's good to break up the document into the various tags for browsers / Google to make sense of pages. :) Tis a good blog article which explains things in more detail...! We can use divs etc for styling purposes but sections define a "section" or a "chapter" almost.

wow! what a quick response! thank you very much, i´ll check those articles right now.

No problem! Treehouse have a really cool blog it's worth following them! :)
