i don't know what the problem is

i can't pass this task

When you move your script tag which has the alert function inside of it, in the body tag and delete the script tag which is currently inside the body tag, everything should be working fine.

first challenge should the script tag be in the body

Yes i think so.

Basically you need to switch the script tag that contains the link to the script.js file with the other one, that should work fine
