Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java Strings, Variables, and Formatting

i write console.printf("your name is %s\n", firstName); i dont undesrtand what is wrong ?

Name.java
String firstName = "george";
console.printf("your name is %s\n", firstName);
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console

I just tried your code - it works :) Just reload page and try again.

Also you may use "%n" instead of "\n" which is OS interchangeable
