If statment and String..

Hi. So im stuck.. and cant see why it dosent work, tried many variations now, but dont really understand this.

Equality.java 
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console. 
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";
if (String firstExample = String secondExample) {
console.printf("first is equal to second");
}

Try removing the word "string" from the conditional statement. Like this:

if (firstExample = secondExample) {
console.printf("first is equal to second");
}

I haven't programmed in Java for a while now, so I might be wrong.

There should be double equals in the if statement because double equals checks the equality of the Strings..

the code should be this :-
