HTML Introduction to HTML and CSS (2016) Getting Familiar with HTML and CSS Test: Changing the Look of a Web Page

In task 2 of 2 there still isn't anything in the styles.css tab. Shouldn't there be? How am I supposed to edit colors?

Previous tutorial videos didn't go over any kind of coding so if there's nothing in the styles.css tab how am I supposed to edit any of the colors? I've rewatched the videos and I'm not seeing anything that's supposed to help me figure this out. Do I need to create something from scratch? That would be crazy given that we have yet to go over anything like that.

    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">

  </body>
</html>

You have to change the color of the h1 tag in the css file. It should be mentioned in the videos. Hope it helps :)

h1
{
  color:purple;
}

@Raffael Detting Thanks for the fast response. I know how to change the color in css but the problem is that the css tab is empty. There nothing there at all. Super confused. Is this a bug or am I an idiot?

No no itΒ΄s empty you just have to use the code i posted inside the ccs file. ItΒ΄s pretty simple at the beginning :)

Haha good grief. I'm good at over complicating things I guess. Thanks for the assist.

YouΒ΄re welcome ^^
