Is giving me a error:

if (message = true ) { alert('This is true'); } else { alert('This is false'); }

It's because you have "message" in the conditional statement. The question is only looking for a Boolean value, which would be the "true" part of that statement. Booleans don't need quotes, so you can get rid of the "message = " part and it will pass.

Also, not that this is part of the question, but you should also use == or === (typically ===) for conditional statements. A single = is typically used for setting a value.
