I've used the nav and section elements in my answer and a combination of the two. What is the correct answer?

Is there a solid rule to go by when applying these two elements and the element aside?

An h1 is not the same as a header. It should look like so:

      <h1>My Web Design &amp; Development Portfolio!</h1> 
      <p>A site featuring my latest work.</p>

Thanks a lot for your help. I would have never figured that out alone. I had something completely different in mind when I read the question. Your answer put me on the right track. The rest of the challenge was a piece of cake once you pointed me in the right direction.

The first challenge doesn't require either of these. Just wrap the content in a header element.

I tried your suggestion and used h1, then h2 and finally h3 header tags to wrap the content. The answer was labeled wrong each time.

The elements are just tag names. You apply them depending on what your content is.
