Launching a Website

Can you use Treehouse's 'Workspaces' to launch a website? If so how? And if not, what's the easiest way too?

I know how to code it, I just need to figure out where I need to put my code.

You cannot launch a website using Workforce because it's for learning purposes and you can only use it to experiment your code, if you want to launch your web site I recommend you to search for a web hosting services.

Hi Max, the easiest way would be to get a domain name plus a hosting account.

Nowadays, most hosting services include cPanel which is short for "control panel" and from there, you can reach your server's file folders.

You can learn more about domain names and hosting on this treehouse video: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/website-basics/website-basics/domains-and-hosting

PS. I strongly recommend using NameCheap to register your domain name (it is not the cheapest option but it doesn't have endless and useless upsells plus it's very easy and fast to update your DNS settings) and SiteGround for your hosting account (super cheap, reliable and fast).

If you have any more questions, just let me know, happy to help! ;-)

Okay. What are the best options for hosting services?
