Morse code challenge - I can't see the error in my code

    for i in self.pattern:
        if i == ".":
            morse.append("dot")
        else:
            morse.append("dash")
    return "-".join(morse)

We can refer to the already declared pattern with self.pattern.

You're really close! But the method should not take an argument. Instead, it should use the pattern already stored inside the object.
