JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Working With Numbers The Random Challenge Solution

My code works, but it's vastly different from the teacher's solution. Is there anything wrong with it?

//prompt input and parse a small Number var smallNumber = parseInt(prompt("pick a small number")) //prompt input and parse a big Number var bigNumber = parseInt(prompt("pick a big number"))

//math function using small and big number as range var math = Math.floor(Math.random() * (bigNumber - smallNumber + 1)) + smallNumber;

console.log("Your random number is " + math)

You don't need to worry if you solution is different from the teacher's solution, the only thing that matter is if it is working :-)

Appreciate the response. I was more concerned with if there were any bad JS practices in there.

Looks fine to me :-)
