CSS How to Make a Website Styling Web Pages and Navigation Polish the Navigation and Footer

My nav is still showing block style .. I've double checked my code against Nick's and can't find what I'm doing wrong.

'''css nav { text-align: center; padding: 10px 0; margin: 20px 0 0; }

nav ul { list-style: none; margin: 0 10px; padding: 0; }

nav li { display: inline-block; }

nav a { font-weight: 800; padding: 15px 10px;

}

It would be helpful if you posted the offending code.

It seems to me from without looking at it you are referencing it incorrectly. Are you sure you have typed the class correctly in the HTML and CSS, is it an id rather than a class?

Works on my home computer. I work on chrome at home, would using Internet explorer (on my work computer) cause that kind of problem?

I think it is possible that it was cached with your old version that had:

nav li {
 display: block;
}

Thanks James. I'm trying, unfortunately my work computer is making everything more difficult.. I guess I'll come back to this when I get home. Thanks for trying to help!! :)
