JavaScript Introducing the Practice

+recipeId in index.js

In case anyone else was wondering what the + sign was doing in line 14 of index.js, apparently it converts the following variable from a string to a number.

Correct, +var is like Number(var).

req.params will always return a string value and as the id value in the recipe object is a number the req.params.id value needs to always be a number for === to match.
