unable to answer correctly.

Question: "After your newly created returnValue function, create a new variable named echo. Set the value of echo to be the results from calling the returnValue function. When you call the returnValue function, make sure to pass in any string you'd like for the parameter. "

can someone answer this and explain the answer please.

The assignment to echo will never be reached because when you return a value from a function it exits the function. You should place your assignment to echo outside of the function (below it) and make sure you call the function.
