unable to change guideline mode in Android Studio

Seems to be a UI bug in Android Studio; I'm currently on version 3.2.1. Just wanted to share this out in case anyone had the same issue...

When I add guidelines, I'm not able to toggle their mode at first. Switching to the XML view (text) tab and back fixes this for me.

You can click on the guideline header to change its mode from: left, right, percentage.

You can change the XML file to say:

app:layout_constraintGuide_percent="0.33"

rather than constraintGuide_begin
