HTML How to Make a Website Sharing a Website Upload the Website

Uploading website

Hi there. I have just registered my domain name (on namecheap.com) as well as my web server (at webhostingforstudends.com). I downloaded Cyberduck and uploaded all the files as per the video.

For some reason when I enter my domain name I still get a green Webhostingforstudents screen saying "Welcome to your new site! Web hosting for students" as well as "This is a default landing page. Please FTP into your account to upload your own files."

Am I jumping the gun here? Should I wait 24 hours? Or am I doing something wrong?

Definitely your caching, then :) Hold shift while clicking refresh in Safari, and that should remedy the issue.

Buddy, after searching for this for 4 hours all the night, you saved me with this one sentence. YOU DA REAL MVP, HONORED!

I haven't looked much into Web Hosting For Students (although I believe its a Treehouse Perk) Have you ensured that you set your nameservers on your domain you got at Namecheap to Web Hosting For Students' ones? If so, it may take about 24 hours for DNS to propagate, allowing everything to point properly and show up.

Weird. When I open it in google chrome it works, but I still get the green Webhostingforstudents welcome page on Safari.

Yayyy it works! Thanks :-)
