What does it mean to call your new function and pass it to argument 3?

squaring.py
def square(number):
    return number * number

result = square("number * number")
print(result)

For a generic example — If I called a function named "test", and passed it an argument of 42, and assigned the result to a variable named "zoom", it would look like this:

zoom = test(42)
