Java Java Objects (Retired) Harnessing the Power of Objects Incrementing

What is it asking me to do?

I don't understand what it wants me to do

GoKart.java
public class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_ENERGY_BARS = 8;
  private String mColor;
  private int mBarsCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
    mBarsCount = 0;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }

  public void charge() {
    mBarsCount = MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return mBarsCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return mBarsCount == MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
  }

  while(!isFullyCharged()) {
    mBarsCount++;
  }
}

your while loop looks okay, but the aim is to replace the implementation of the existing charge method. The problems with your current code are similar to those discussed at https://teamtreehouse.com/community/while-java-loops .

so I should place the loop in the charge method?

yup. Incidentally, if you want complete code see https://teamtreehouse.com/community/my-while-loop-is-wrong-i-think . A lot of people have the same problems, so looking back through the forum will often get you a complete answer (if people aren't responding to your current post as fast as you'd like)

thanks man. I understand it now
