Why won't my either of my style sheets link-normalize and main?

Here is my code:

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>Karen Rose | Designer</title> <link rel="styleheet" href="css/normalize.css"> <link rel="styleheet" href="css/main.css"> </head> <body> <header> <a href="index.html"id="logo"> <h1>Karen Rose</h1> <h2> Designer</h2> </a> <nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a> </li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li> </ul> </nav> </header> <div id="wrapper"> <section> <ul> <li> <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""> <p>Experimentation with color and texture.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""> <p>Playing with blending modes in Photoshop. </p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-06.jpg"> <img src ="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""> <p>Trying to create an 80's style of glows.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-09.jpg"> <img src ="img/numbers-09.jpg" alt=""> <p>Drips created using Photoshop brushes.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-12.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-12.jpg" alt=""> <p>Creating shapes using repetition</p> </a> </li>

I believe your problem is the link rel="styleheet" href="css/main.css" should be link rel="stylesheet" href="css/main.css" you require the correct spelling as it doesn't know the file you are trying to link to is a stylesheet without the correct spelling. :)

Thanks Dan! That was it- a typo!

Hi, Karen. You're missing your <head> and <body> tags. Your code should work fine if you put those in! :)

Your meta title and link tags need to go into a head tag. Your also missing the body tags.

I'm not sure why they didn't copy over but they were there and it still doesn't link.

!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>Karen Rose | Designer</title> <link rel="styleheet" href="css/normalize.css"> <link rel="styleheet" href="css/main.css"> </head> <body> <header> <a href="index.html"id="logo"> <h1>Karen Rose</h1> <h2> Designer</h2> </a> <nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a> </li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li> </ul> </nav> </header> <div id="wrapper"> <section> <ul> <li> <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""> <p>Experimentation with color and texture.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""> <p>Playing with blending modes in Photoshop. </p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-06.jpg"> <img src ="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""> <p>Trying to create an 80's style of glows.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-09.jpg"> <img src ="img/numbers-09.jpg" alt=""> <p>Drips created using Photoshop brushes.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-12.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-12.jpg" alt=""> <p>Creating shapes using repetition</p> </a> </li>
</ul> </section> <footer> <a href="http://www.twitter.com"><img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt="Twitter Logo"></a> <a href="http://www.facebook.com"><img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt="Facebook Logo"></a> <p>© 2014 Karen Rose.</p> </footer> </div> </body> </html

Here's the link to check out my code. http://port-80-o1ynjndh70.treehouse-app.com

I did have the head and body tags but for some reason when I copied and pasted into the answer space they disappeared.

Thanks, Dan! That was it! A typo!
